They have been projected to Montana State Plane NAD83(2011) meters [wkid: 6514]. Precinct splits are created from all of the districts within a county that hold an election. The are created, named, and maintained by the county election administrator. View the individual layer's metadata for additional information about each election district. The list of election districts is provided by the Montana Secretary of State's Office (SOS) from the Election Management System.
