Abstract:

Index to the digital orthophoto quarter quadrangle TIFF file names of the Montana 2015 National Agricultural Image Program (NAIP) files held by the Montana State Library.

The size of each NAIP image file is approximately 170 megabytes, and the entire collection is 1.8 terabytes. Each file is a four-band GeoTIFF image with a resolution of one meter containing infrared, red, green, and blue spectral bands.

To order these files from the Library, select the files you want from this shapefile and send them to the Library, along with a storage device of sufficient size to hold them and return postage for the device.

This consists of the latitude and longitude of the southeast corner of the 1-degree block that contains the quadrangle, plus a letter a through h that indicates which row, from south to north, the quadrangle occupies in the block, plus a number 1 through 8 that indicates which column, from east to west, the quadrangle occupies.
