Process step:

This image was created by overlaying elevation-based colors on a greyscale shaded relief map. The elevations and corresponding colors (cyan, magenta, yellow) were:
1800-2300' 20 0 5
2300-2800' 30 0 30
2800-3300' 20 15 100
3300-4200' 10 20 70
4200-5400' 15 35 87
5400-7000' 28 47 96
7000-9000' 15 40 65
over 9000' 17 17 17

These hue and saturation values from these colors were combined with hillshade values (scaled back to 0-100 from the original 0-255) in the Arc/Info GridComposite command. The hillshade values were generated by the Arc/Info hillshade command, with azimuth 315, altitude 25, no shadows, and 1.5x vertical exaggeration.
