County boundaries when coincident with the PLSS were copied from original GCDB data downloaded from the Montana State BLM Office. Based on recent observations, this GCDB data varies somewhat from what is available at the Denver GCDB LSIS site and BLM needs to coordinate to ensure one standard version of GCDB. The boundaries that are not coincident with PLSS, rivers and other topographic features, were on screen digitized from the USGS raster graphics.
